THE LORD DAVID EVANS OF WATFORD JOINS ARCANUM

Print and publishing magnate the Lord Evans of Watford to serve as Senior Advisor to Arcanum.

Zurich/London/Washington, DC, September 2, 2014 – Arcanum, a strategic global intelligence firm and an RJI Capital company, announced today that Evans of Watford (Life Baron), David Charles Evans has joined Arcanum as a Senior Advisor to the CEO.

Lord Evans comes to Arcanum with a 55-year career in print and publishing, and holds a number of chairmanships, spanning across publishing, printing, business consultancy, charity and healthcare. He was a Trustee of the Royal Air Force Museum and currently is a Director of the Royal Air Force Museum Trading Company, as well as chairman of the Institute of Collaborative Working.

In 2013, Lord Evans became chairman of Newsdesk Media Ltd, a niche global partnership publishing company, producing high-caliber books for government and corporate clients – promoting foreign trade and investment. Raised to the peerage as Baron Evans of Watford, of Chipperfield in the County of Hertfordshire 1998, Lord Evans began his publishing career when he founded Centurion Press in 1971. Following the sale of Centurion Press, he founded Senate Consulting Ltd with his business partner of 21 years, Caroline Minshell. Senate serves as a consultancy business providing seed capital for companies in a variety of markets.

Lord Evans attended Watford College of Technology and was awarded the Edward Hunter Medal as best student, as well as being awarded Full Technologist qualifications.
